How to Find Fairhaven Self Catering Cottage, Colintraive

Fairhaven is located in the small village of Colintraive opposite the Island of Bute in the West Coast of Scotland. The area is known as the Cowal Peninsula and the largest town close to Colintraive is Dunoon.
Directions from the south.
From Glasgow follow the M8 to Gourock and take the Western Ferries sailing from Gourock to Hunters Quay (approximately 20 minutes). Western Ferries (Clyde) Ltd
On leaving the ferry terminal turn right and head towards Sandbank.
After Sandbank turn left along the B836 to Colintraive.
At the junction of the A866 turn left, towards Colintraive.
When you reach the village, continue past the Hotel and the Bowling Green on your left.
Fairhaven is approximately 400 metres past the bowling Green on your right, look out for the green painted garage.
Alternatively, from Glasgow you can take the A82 to Balloch and follow the side of Loch Lomond to Tarbet.
At Tarbet follow the A83 to Arrochar.
Approximately 11 miles beyond Arrochar look out for the signs for the Bute Ferry. Turn left along the A815 towards Strachur. At Strachur follow the A886 towards Colintraive.
When you reach the village, continue past the Hotel and the Bowling Green on your left.
Fairhaven is approximately 400 metres past the bowling Green on your right, look out for the green painted garage.
Directions from the North.
From Fort William take the A82 south to Tyndrum. At Tyndrum turn right and follow the A85 to Dalmally. After Dalmally turn left onto the A819 towards Inveraray.
Turn left onto the A83 for approximately 11 miles.
Look out for the signs for the Bute Ferry. Turn left along the A815 towards Strachur. At Strachur follow the A886 towards Colintraive.
When you reach the village, continue past the Hotel and the Bowling Green on your left.
